Auxiliary bishop of Québec since 2019, Msgr Martin Laliberté, p.m.é., was named bishop of the diocese of Trois-Rivières by Pope Francis. He becomes the 10th Bishop of Trois-Rivières and will succeed to Msgr Luc Bouchard, who had retired last January 2021. Congratulations and our best wishes for a fruitful new mission.
